John Wynyard is a barrister-at-law and arbitrator.
A member of the NSW Bar Association he was admitted to practice in 1977.
His career as a barrister has involved him in practice in criminal jurisdictions, including District Court and Supreme Court jury trials, and appearances in the Court of Criminal Appeal.
He has had extensive experience in Workers Compensation in
District Court Common law, Workers Compensation Commission, and appearances in the Court of Appeal.
Since 1998 he has been appointed as a part-time Arbitrator in the District Court, and from 2002 as an Arbitrator and Conciliator for the Workers Compensation Commission. He is also a Medical Appeal Panel convenor.
He continues a general practice at the bar as well as appearing as a Sessional Arbitrator and dispute resolver.
