Derek Minus
Derek Minus is a barrister and a dispute resolution specialist. He is accredited as a NSW Farm Debt mediator pursuant to the legislation.
He has been approved as an Arbitrator; appointed by the Chief Judge to the list of District Court arbitrators for 2011/2012; and the panel of Local Court arbitrators for 2012/2013, approved by the NSW Bar Association as an Expert Determiner, re-accredited as a Mediator with the NSW Bar Association and appointed to the NSW Supreme Court list and the District Court list of mediators for 2011/2012. He is dual qualified as both an international arbitrator and mediator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Domestically he is a Nationally Accredited mediator and has been appointed to numerous mediation panels. Since 1992 he has conducted over 1000 mediation/conciliation processes. He uses collaborative strategies and combined mediation-arbitration processes to help people achieve more than just the settlement of their dispute and also leads them towards the transformation of their conflict.

Brydget Barker-Hudson
Brydget is a specialist in mediation/arbitration for workplace, medico-legal, insurance, family, environmental and cross-cultural matters both domestic and internationally. In 2010 she was appointed to the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) as the “International Consultant in ADR to the National Court of PNG”.

John McDermott
John McDermott is a Nationally Accredited Mediator, a Court appointed Arbitrator and a member of the Arbitration Liaison Committee of the Law Society of NSW. His recent appointments include the Federal Court Native Title Mediation Panel and the Westpac Industrial Relations Arbitration Panel.
Apart from being a member of the Franchising Panel conducted by the Office of the Mediation Advisor, John frequently advises franchisors and franchisees in day to day legal practice, John has a balanced view of the aims and aspirations of both franchisors and franchisees.
Franchises typically involve issues relating to business law and property law. As one of the first solicitors in New South Wales to be appointed by the Law Society as both a business specialist and a property specialist, John is able to take a balanced and common sense view.
Dr John Keogh
Dr John Keogh is a barrister, mediator and arbitrator. He has been awarded Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) by UTS Sydney. Honoured as the UTS “Graduate of the Year” for 1999. Thesis title: Environmental Due Diligence – Legal Principles, Corporate Strategies. He has been an arbitration and mediation member of the NSW Workers Compensation Commission since its inception. He has extensive experience in the investigation and determination of disputes as an arbitrator and mediator.
Gregory Rooney
Gregory William Rooney was a legal practitioner for 14 years and is now practising full time as a mediator and an arbitrator. Since November 1991 he has conducted in access of 1,000 mediations in a variety of jurisdictions including the Queensland Department of Primary Industry, Queensland Treasury, New South Wales Department of Fair Trading Strata Schemes Commissioner, The South Australian Department of Health, the New South Wales Department of Health North Coast Community Housing Co-operative, and the Health Insurance Commission.
